Jo entered this life on June 15, 1943, in Waverly, TN to the late Pony and Nettie Wofford Mosley. She was a graduate of Waverly Central High School and a member of Halls Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Although she was raised in Waverly, she moved to south Florida in 1986. She loved everything about Florida and enjoyed 36 years there. In Florida, she retired from Palm Beach County and was able to enjoy several years of her retirement. Through the years, Jo enjoyed playing and watching basketball, riding her bike at the parks in Florida, making jewelry, swimming, and making homemade treats year round. She also had a love for horses, having owned two during her lifetime. When she could no longer be as physically active, she enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. The more challenging, the better.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Doris Lee Mosley, Delmar Allen Mosley, Myrtle Jean Woods, Lloyd Raymond Mosley, Lula Clyde Mosley, William P. Mosley, Elmer Shorty Mosley, and David Patterson Mosley.
Survivors include her daughter, Marcia Jane Mallard Williams, and her husband, Mark Turner Williams; two grandsons- whom she adored, Bradley Turner Williams (Taylor) and Lee Allen Williams; great-grandchildren, Paige Scout Williams, Bowen Turner Williams, and Zig Taylor Williams. They were the apple of her eyes! She also leaves behind her sister, Dot Cochran, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Olivia, Lydia, Triffee and Robin with Gentiva Hospice for their excellent and compassionate care. Also the family would like to extend their gratitude to Natasha for her kindness and care.
