Mr. Alan Lee Pribble, age 70, passed away at his home in New Johnsonville, TN, with his family at his side after a courageous battle against stomach cancer. He was born November 14, 1950 in Danville, IL.
Alan graduated from Georgetown High School in 1969. He was a proud Marine serving from 1969 to 1977 with tours in Vietnam and separating as a SSgt. He was a dedicated public servant working as a police officer for over 30 years. Alan retired in 2006 from the Department of Homeland Security, as the Chicago Area Commander.
Alan was an avid golfer, enjoying his annual golf trip to Myrtle Beach. He loved to travel and have adventures with his wife, Pam, spending 7 years as RV nomads before settling on their new home in TN.
Mr. Pribble’s wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at the Westville American Legion, in Westville, IL, from 2:00 – 4:00pm. Please come and celebrate Alan with family and friends sharing stories and memories you hold in your heart.
Graveside Services for Mr. Pribble will be conducted at 11:00am Monday, October 25, 2021 at the Middle Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery with Military Honors.
