Alfred Lawrence Nottingham

Mr. Alfred Lawrence Nottingham, age 90 of Hixson, TN formerly of Waverly, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025, at Life Care of Hixson. He was born January 9, 1935, in Churchland, VA, to Francis Marion Nottingham and Mary Anne Druiouis Nottingham.

Alfred was a proud Army veteran, having bravely served his country during the Korean War. His military service not only reflected his love for his country but also shaped his character and perspective on life. After his time in the Army, he continued to demonstrate a steadfast work ethic throughout his life. He also was a proud member of the Waverly Church of Christ.

Graveside Services: for Mr. Nottingham will be conducted at 3:00 pm Friday, April 25, 2025, at Concord Cemetery in Waverly, Tennessee, with Ronnie Burgess officiating.

Interment: will follow.
