Mrs. Alveda Etheridge Himes, age 88

Of New Johnsonville, TN passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Humphreys County Nursing Home. She was born November 3, 1935, in Waverly, TN. 

Mrs. Himes was a member of the Hustburg Church of Christ and Woodmen of the World. She enjoyed dancing and sitting on her front porch.

Mrs. Himes’s wishes were to be cremated.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Himes will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Ebenezer Cemetery with Bro. Joe Rhodes officiating.

Interment of cremains will follow.
