Amanda Patterson Hinkle

Amanda Patterson Hinkle, born on August 16, 1970, departed this life on April 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy rich in love, laughter, and a spirit that was as boundless as the night sky she so adored. A devoted follower of Jesus, Amanda embraced all of His natural creation, finding beauty and purpose in every aspect of life. She was a soul gifted not only in spirituality but in the art of connection, reveling in conversations with strangers, offering them the words of encouragement they needed, and shining a light on their paths with grace and kindness.

Amanda had a bold, loving spirit. She was strong-willed yet silly, fiery yet nurturing. Music was her escape, and she’d often say, “Music is my drug of choice,” especially when it came to her beloved rock n’ roll.

She was a proud and fiercely devoted mother and grandmother, and the love she had for her daughter and granddaughter was immeasurable—etched deeply into every part of her being.

Amanda loved hard and laughed freely. One of her fondest memories was of childhood rides down country back roads with her sister, their mom, and aunt—windows down, wind in their hair, stopping to pick wildflowers and bring them back home to plant. She carried that same wildflower spirit into adulthood—bright, untamed, and beautifully rooted in love.

She was a huge flirt with a mischievous smile and a twinkle in her eye that let you know she was always up to something. And let’s be honest—Amanda had a special place in her heart for the fellas with big muscles and tattoos. She never missed a chance to flash that grin and say exactly what was on her mind.

Amanda's legacy is one of fierce love, deep faith, and contagious laughter. She made this world brighter, more compassionate, and a little more fun. She will be missed dearly—but her light lives on in the lives she touched.

 The moon will miss your gaze
  The stars look down and no longer see
  The most beautiful soul of all creation
  Now they must look up to Heaven to find you;
  We will too, Rock On!
