Archie Marion Grice

Age: 95 Of: Waverly, TN Died: Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at his home. Mr. Grice was a WWII Army Veteran; while serving his country he was wounded in combat and received a Purple Heart. He was a life member of the VFW #9160, life member and Past Commander of the DAV Chapter 31 and Vice Commander of the American Legion #34. Mr. Grice was a Christian man and raised his family in a Christian household. He attended the Mariah Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He will be remembered by his family as a loving and caring father and grandfather. Visitation: will be held from 3 – 8pm Thursday, June 4th and from 10am until service time Friday, June 5th at the Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Mr. Grice will be conducted at 1pm Friday, June 5th in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jesse Freeman and Bro. Ronnie Burgess officiating. Interment: will follow in the Concord Cemetery.
