Aubrey "Joe" Lafayette Lescure

Mr. Aubrey Lafayette “Joe” Lescure, age 85, of Waverly, Tennessee, died Monday, September 11, 2023, at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born December 23, 1937, in Waverly, Tennessee, to Mildred “Bub” Lescure and Annie Bell Jackson Lescure. He was married to Doris Ann Curtis Lescure. Joe was a retired Equipment Operator for Conalco in New Johnsonville. He also worked for the Humphreys County Highway Department. He was the retired Minister of Bell’s Missionary Baptist Church. He was a small engine mechanic and he loved to mow.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. Joe Lescure will be conducted at 1:00pm, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel, with William Brown officiating.

Interment will follow in McKeel Cemetery in Waverly, Tennessee
