Barbara Sue O'Guin Warlick

Barbara Sue O’Guin Warlick, age 77, of Cobb County, Georgia, passed away on the 19th of January 2024.

Barbara was born on April 27, 1946, in Dickson, Tennessee, the youngest daughter of seven children born to William Garland O’Guin and Alice Earlene Oakley-O’Guin. She has lived all over the world, including Japan and South Africa. She was a wonderful and loving mother and enjoyed golfing and gardening.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Laura Warlick-Griffith (Scott) of Webster, FL, and Linda Warlick-Kurtz (Jim) of Marietta, GA, and five grandchildren, Justin S. Griffith (Crystal) of Chattanooga, TN, Katie E. Griffith-Shaffer (Jason) of Spokane, WA, Haley N. Kurtz of Denver, CO, Jacob Kurtz of Marietta, GA and Emma Kurtz of Savannah, GA.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband and best friend, Michael Eugene Warlick, (married 55 years), as well as her parents, Garland and Earlene O’Guin, and six siblings, Betty O’Guin-Kephart, Charles W. O’Guin, Shirley Ann O’Guin-Case, John Paul O’Guin, Judy O’Guin-Sujdak, and is survived by her youngest brother, Christopher D O’Guin of North Carolina.
 

Visitation for Barbara will be Friday, January 26, 2024, from 12:00-1:30pm at Humphreys County Funeral Home in Waverly until the time of service beginning at 1:30pm.  Rev. Janie Burkett will officiate the service. A private entombment will follow at Richlawn Cemetery in the Good Shephard Mausoleum in Waverly, TN.
