Age: 92 Of: Waverly, TN Died: Tuesday, December 06, 2011 at Three Rivers Hospital. Mrs. Tomlinson played basketball and graduated from Tribble High School. She was a teacher for 15years and later worked at Powers Florist for 38 years. She was a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church, a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, the 1st President of the American Cancer Society Chapter, a member of the Waverly Woman’s Club, and the Humphreys County Campaign Chair for “Frank Clement” for Governor. Visitation: for Mrs. Tomlinson will be held from 10am until service time Saturday, December 10 at the Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Mrs. Tomlinson will be conducted at 2pm Saturday, December 10 in the chapel of Humphreys County Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Ross and Rev. Gordon Meador officiating. Interment: will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery. Survived by: 1 Daughter: Eva Joy Tomlinson Rushton (Frank) of Waverly 2 Sisters: Frances Powers Grannis of Waverly, Dorothy Powers Hiett of Waverly 4 Grandchildren: Natalie Nicole Undis of Waverly, Michelle Marie Undis of Waverly, Galey Rushton of Waverly, Hunter Rushton (Katie) of Brentwood 3 Great Grandchildren: Clay Buchanan of Waverly, Taylor Buchanan of Waverly, Luke Bissinger of Waverly Mrs. Tomlinson is preceded in death by: Parents: Rev.
