Billy "Gooseneck" Ray Sesler, born on February 6, 1938, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and cherished memories. Gooseneck had a strong work ethic and connection to the outdoors which was evident throughout his life and career as a logger. 

Beyond his career, Gooseneck held a deep passion for racing and a personal enjoyment of chewing tobacco, a habit that added to his unique character and charm.

Most importantly, Gooseneck enjoyed the time spent with his children and grandchildren. His family memories are woven with moments of joy, laughter, and shared experiences that will be carried forward by those who survive him.

Billy "Gooseneck" Ray Sesler is remembered not just for his contributions to his trade and interests but for the impact he made in the lives of his children and grandchildren. His spirit and warmth will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Visitation: will be 4-8 Friday and 11 – 3 Saturday at Spann Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: for Billy Ray “Gooseneck” Sesler will be conducted 3 pm Saturday March 22, 2025 from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home.

Interment: in the Jackson Chapel Cemetery
