Billy McClanahan, Sr. Age: 84 Of: Charlotte, TN Died: September 21, 2017 at the Waters of Cheatham Assisted Living. Mr. McClanahan was retired from Ford Glass Plant after 43 ½ years of service. He was a member of the McFerrin Baptist Church, an Army veteran, cattle farmer and loved and was very devoted to his family. Visitation: 5-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2017 and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017 from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Carver officiating. Survivors include: Wife of 65 years: Iva Jean McClanahan of Charlotte, TN 1 Son: Billy McClanahan, Jr. (Lisa) of Charlotte, TN 2 Sisters: Wavy T. Lalande of Nashville, TN Peggy Greene of White House, TN 4 Grandchildren: Cory, Josh, Amanda & Brittany 10 Great Grandchildren: Marissa, Alohna, Kirsten, Jayden, Logan, Sawyer, Hudson, Kimber, Junior & Wesson Preceded in death by: Parents: Willie & Agnes Gregory McClanahan Brothers: James & Roy McClanahan In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
