Bobby Dean Christy

Bobby Dean Christy Age 82 of Charlotte, TN. died July 16, 2015 at his home. Mr. Christy retired from the State of Tennessee in 1985. He then founded Christy Engineering & Surveying where he worked until his retirement in 1997. He attended Alva Baptist Church. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015 and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Funeral Services: For Mr. Christy will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday July 19, 2015 from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Richard officiating. Interment: Rock Springs FWB Cemetery Survivors: Wife of 57 Years: Claytie Holley Christy of Charlotte, TN. 2 Sons: Darrin Christy (Jennifer Lynn) of Dickson, TN. Lorne Christy (Allison) of Southside, TN. 1 Sister: Alice Mae Justice Grandsons; Caleb & Grant Christy Granddaughters: Lake, Brooke & Hannah Christy Preceded in death by: Parents; Rye Benjamin & Nellie Proctor Christy Sister: Ruby Cunningham The family requests donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
