Celia Mai (Miller) Delius of Charlotte passed away on Friday, December 18, at Vantage Pointe Village in Ashland City from complications due to the Covid virus. Celia was born in Charlotte on October 16, 1937, and was a member of the Charlotte High School class of 1955. She was active in the Golden Hearts Senior group at Sylvia Baptist Church.
Celia is survived by her husband of 59 years, Henry B. “Skipper” Delius, her sisters Sarah Ann Bryant of Charlotte and Betty Lois Foster (J.W.) of Woods Valley, Son James Robert Delius, Grandchildren Heather Ashley Delius, Tiffany Amber Delius, and Luke Spencer Delius, all of Pataskala, Ohio, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded by her parents Verlie Alexander and Ethel Lowess (Pentecost) Miller, and brothers Robert Alexander, Jack Walton, and James Augustus Miller.
Interment will be at the Veterans National Cemetery in Pegram, Tennessee at a later date and time to be determined by the cemetery. No viewings will be scheduled.
