Charles Williams "Bill" Hayes

Age: 94, of: Waverly, TN Died: Saturday July 30, 2016 at the Humphreys County Nursing Home. Mr. Hayes was a retired farmer and butcher at Piggly Wiggly and Big Star. He served in WWII as an Army Medic. He served as an Elder in the Humboldt Church of Christ for fifty years. He was a member of the Waverly Church of Christ and his greatest joy was that his children and grandchildren were all faithful Christians. Visitation: will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 2nd and from 10:00a.m. until service time Wednesday, August 3rd at the Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Mr. Hayes will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 3rd in the Humphreys County Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Gary Massey officiating. Interment: will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Trenton Tennessee at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
