Charles Edward Daniel Sr.

Mr. Charles Edward Daniel Sr., age: 81 Of: McEwen, TN Died: Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his home. He was born October 21, 1935 in Old Johnsonville, TN. Mr. Daniel was a member of the Wildwood Valley Church of Christ and served as a former Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Lay Preacher. He was also a member of the IBEW, Jaycees and the Humphreys County Rescue Squad. Throughout his life, Mr. Daniel worked as an Auctioneer, Real Estate Agent, Insurance Representative for Life and Casualty, Deliveryman for Sunbeam Bread Products and retired after 32 years as a Meter Reader for Meriwether Lewis Electric Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting “treasures” of all sorts. Mr. Daniel never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Over the past eight-plus years of Charles’s journey, we have been abundantly blessed by the Lord as He faithfully provided so many wonderful caregivers to assist us with Charles’s care. As a family we would like to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of these ladies for not only their selfless dedication to Charles as they assisted us with his care, but also for the emotional support they provided for us. We gratefully acknowledge the blessing they have been to us all and pray God will richly reward each of them for their efforts. Visitation: will be held from 4:00 – 8:00pm Tuesday, November 22nd and from 10:00am until service time Wednesday, November 23rd at Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Mr. Daniel will be conducted at 1:00pm Wednesday, November 23rd in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeremy McFarlin and Bro. Rick Rolin officiating. Interment: will follow in the J. Warren Cemetery.
