Charles "Cash" Larry Hayes Birth: November 27, 1968 Nashville Davidson County Tennessee, USA Death: June 15, 2016 Slayden Dickson County Tennessee, USA Charles Larry Hayes of Dickson County died suddenly on Wednesday at his home in Slayden, Tennessee. A lifelong resident of Dickson County, he attended school at White Bluff Elementary School, William James Jr High, and was a member of the graduating class of 1987 at Dickson County Senior High. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America. He attended The University of the South at Sewanee, TN from 1987-1990. Chuck obtained his Bachelors Degree from Austin Peay State University in May 2015 and has since been accepted at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida to work toward his PhD in Sociology. Visitation and Services: Visitation for the public, Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 4pm8pm. And Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 10am-1pm with funeral service to be held at 1pm on Sunday 19th at Spann Funeral Home in Dickson, TN. Chuck was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Willard W Hayes and his maternal grandparents Charles Kinnard Harvey and Mary Josephine McNabb Harvey and his paternal uncle William W Hayes. 2 maternal uncles: Michael K Harvey and Philip R Harvey, his ex-wife Linda Wallace and his best friend and beloved pug, Sam. Surviving Chuck are his parents, Larry E and Charlotte Jane Harvey of Slayden, TN. His brother Joseph Michael "Joey" Hayes of Tallahassee, FL. His sisters Kimberly Jane Swedberg (Bryan) of Erin, TN and Amanda Elizabeth Hayes Meeker (Scott) of Dickson, TN. His 95 year old paternal grandmother, Clella Mae Robertson Hayes of Yellow Creek, TN. In addition to his grandmother, parents, and siblings, he is survived by 3 nieces: Elizabeth Jane Wallace of Madison, TN. Laura Shannon Hayes of Erin, TN and Hannah Faith Hayes of Erin, TN. And 3 nephews: Jonathan Philip Wallace of Erin, TN. Alexander Rigel Hayes of Imperial Beach, CA and Bryan Timothy Olaf Swedberg II of Erin, TN. 1 great niece and 1 great nephew, aunts, uncles and many cousins. He is also survived by his soul mate and fiancée, Brook Bunyard Jones.
