Charley “Coach” Pruitt Age: 78 Of: Dickson, TN Died: at Skyline Medical Center. Coach Pruitt served 4 years in the 101st Airborne and graduated from Austin Peay State University. He worked more that 48 years with the Dickson County Board of Education Teaching, Coaching and Driving a Bus. His coaching tenure included Football, Bowling and his life long passion of Cross Country Track. He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman and especially loved Coon Hunting. Visitation: will be 12 – 8 Sunday and 10 – 1 Monday at the Spann Funeral Home Funeral Service: for Charley “Coach” Pruitt will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday March 12, 2018 from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Al Anthony officiating.
