Mr. Christopher Alan Bishop, age: 54 Of: Marietta, GA, formerly of Waverly, TN Died: Saturday, January 4, 2020 at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. He was born September 14, 1965 in Detroit, MI. Mr. Bishop worked as an Information Security Specialist for Lockheed Martin Corp. He was an American Sportscar enthusiast who enjoyed his vehicles fast as he did his fast-paced life. Chris would make his family laugh by finding ways to use Monty Python quotes no matter the situation. He enjoyed fishing and retail therapy with his two daughters, whom he loved very much. He also had a great love for his grandson “Mr. Eli”, who Chris said, “holding this little guy sleeping brings peace to my soul”. Visitation: will be held from 10:00am until service time Wednesday, January 8th at Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Mr. Bishop will be conducted at 2:00pm Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Carpenter officiating. Interment: will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
