Darryl Arness Robertson was born June 9, 1962, to the late Waymon C. (Ram) Robertson and Venus (Juanita) Robertson. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, LeeRoy, Willard, and Brent. His memories will be forever cherished by his son, Darrion Arnez Robertson whom he dearly loved; his loving and devoted fiancée, Omega “Renee” Knox and his bonus children whom he raised for more than 20 years, Carzelle Knox, Lakeesha Knox, and Carmelo Blacksmith; his sisters, Niva (Sam) Pollard of Georgia, Regina L. Robertson of Dickson and Trina L. Robertson of Dickson; one nephew, Stephon Palmer; four nieces, Natasha (Randall) Wade, Kanetra Robertson, Karen (Al Rome) Muthrr, and Cyndee Robertson; three great nephews, two great nieces, two bonus nieces, Wyvonne & Nadia Kelly and a host of friends and cousins.
Darryl gave his life to Christ at New Hope Missionary Church under the leadership of Mathew Lester, Sr. He was educated in the Dickson County school system and graduated in 1981. He attended Austin Peay University before deciding to join the Army. He retired from the Army as well as the U.S. Postal Service. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge.
Visitation will be held 10:00 – 1:00 pm Saturday, January 25 at Spann Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Darryl Arness Robertson will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 25 in the Spann Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dwight Haynes officiating.
Interment will be at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at 9:00 am on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
