David “Stick” Lee Epley

David Lee Epley, affectionately known as "Stick," passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 72 in Dickson, Tennessee. Born on June 10, 1952, in Hohenwald, Tennessee.

Stick was passionate about his hobbies, which included woodworking, fishing, camping and watching his beloved Tennessee Volunteers. These interests brought him immense joy and allowed him to share wonderful experiences with family and friends in the great outdoors. His love for nature and craftsmanship created lasting memories, and he took pride in the pieces he crafted with care.

Stick proudly supported his son's broadcast career. He was also a loving grandfather, relishing every moment spent with his grandchildren, who were central to his life and the source of immense happiness. His Beagle Dog, Molly also held a special place in his heart.

Visitation: will be 4:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, March 7 and 11:00 – 1:00 pm Saturday, March 8 at Spann Funeral Home

Funeral Service: for David Lee Epley will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the Spann Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Epley officiating.

Interment: will follow at Union Cemetery in Dickson
