Age: 60 Of: New Johnsonville, TN Died: Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Henry Co. Medical Center. Mrs. Park was born August 23, 1953 in Nashville, TN to Ellis & Sue Carter; moving to Humphreys County in 1960. Debbie graduated from Waverly Central High School and UT Martin with a B.S. and Master’s Degree. She was a devoted mother and a caring Special Ed Teacher at Lakeview School for 30 years; retiring in May 2013. She was a devoted member of the Trace Creek Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 25 years. For all who knew her she was a model for unwavering concern for anyone who needed help. Debbie always “did it unto the least of these” and practiced as an example of Christian discipleship. There were no insignificant people in her eyes. In keeping with her life she was an organ donor and her wishes were to be cremated. Visitation: will be held from 2pm until service time Wednesday, April 30 at the Humphreys County Funeral Home. Memorial Services: for Mrs. Park will be conducted at 4pm Wednesday, April 30 in the Humphreys County Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Mark Warren officiating.
