Mrs. Della Mai Pickett Smith, age: 81 Of: Waverly, TN Died: Thursday, April 14, 2022 at her home. She was born December 31, 1940 in Fiery Gizzard Cove, TN. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Waverly First Church of the Nazarene. She served as a Den Mother, Girl Scout Leader, and all around role model for her children and others. Mrs. Smith retired from St. Thomas Hospital after several years of nursing. She enjoyed all of God’s creations and spending time with her family. Mrs. Smith’s wishes were to donate her body to the Department of Anthropology University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
