Dewane Thomas “Moose” Crafton Age: 66 Of: Dickson, TN Passed from this life on July 12, 2019 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Dewane was a native of Dickson County, born on October 22, 1952. He graduated from Dickson County High School in 1971. He was an accomplished athlete with the MVP fullback football trophy his senior year. Dewane was also on the golf team as well as the basketball team in high school. He was the treasurer and member of the Key Club. He was voted “Best Sport” in his Senior Year of Who’s Who’s by his classmates. Dewane was a 33-year long employee of Dupont in New Johnsonville, retiring in 2009. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and playing golf with friends.
