Donald Shirley Age: 62 Of: Vanleer, TN Died: Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Horizon Medical Center Mr. Shirley loved his job. He served with the Dickson County Sheriff’s office from July 3, 1988 until July 14, 2008 and remained a commissioned deputy until his “End of Watch” February 19, 2019. He liked meeting people and made friends thru out the county. He was very devoted to his family and was a member of the Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Visitation: 1-8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2019, 11- 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019 and 10:00 until time of service on Saturday Funeral Services: For Mr. Shirley will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Wilkerson & Bro. Terry Bright officiating.
