Douglas Nelson Byrd Sr.

Age: 58 Of: Waverly, TN Died: Monday, January 25, 2016 at his home after a long, hard battle with cancer. Mr. Byrd was born December 8, 1957 in Akron, Ohio. He was a member of Friendship World Outreach and worked for Masonite for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Byrd will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Visitation: will be held from 3:00 – 8:00pm Friday, January 29th and from 9:00am until service Saturday, January 30th at the Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Mr. Byrd will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday, January 30th in the Humphreys County Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Garrett Parker officiating. Interment: will follow in the Wyly Cemetery.
