Doyle Sterling Wall       Age:  76

Of:  Vanleer, Tennessee      Died:  Tuesday May 2, 2023 at his home in Vanleer surrounded by his family. Doyle was born August 27, 1946, to Sterling and Lucille Fiser Wall.  He was a member of the Oak Avenue Church of Christ and lived for his 30-year career in Law enforcement.  He worked for 11 years at the Dickson County Sheriff’s office.  He was the Sheriff of Dickson County for 6 years and then worked for 19 Years at the Dickson Police Department where he retired. He was the former owner of Wall’s Bar-B-Que in Charlotte, a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, The Sheriff’s Association and Honorary member of the Charlotte Lions Club.

Visitation:  will be 10 – 8 pm Wednesday and 10 – 2 on Thursday May 4, 2023, at the Spann Funeral Home.

Funeral Service:  Doyle Wall will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday May 4, 2023, from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch Stevens and Bro. Mike Richardson officiating.

Interment: will be in the Union Cemetery in Dickson.
