Elease Jarman Taylor

Mrs. Elease Jarman Taylor, age 92, of New Johnsonville, TN passed away Monday, October 3, 2022, at NHC Healthcare in Tullahoma, TN. She was born June 14, 1930, in Nashville, TN.

 

Mrs. Taylor attended Dupont Elementary School and Dupont High School in Old Hickory, TN, where she was raised. She was a homemaker when her three sons were young and an office manager later in life until she retired.

 

Mrs. Taylor was a member of New Johnsonville Church of Christ for 60+ years where she taught children’s classes and served as an elder’s wife for 42+ years. Her husband, Bobby, was an elder in the church.

 

Mrs. Taylor enjoyed cooking, especially new recipes, knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, and reading novels, especially in her later years.

 

Mrs. Taylor’s wishes were to be cremated.

 

Graveside Services for Mrs. Taylor will be conducted at 1:00pm Friday, October 14, 2022, at Ebenezer Cemetery with Bro. Ken Owens officiating.

 

Interment will follow.
