Miss Faye Warren, age 100, of Waverly, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West, in Nashville, Tennessee. Faye Warren was born December 19, 1923, in Old Johnsonville, Tennessee, to Robert Sidney and Addie Stricklin Warren. She was a faithful member of Waverly church of Christ. She was an avid collector of hundreds of dolls, and had some dolls over 100 years old in her collection. She was a lover of dogs and cats. Her favorite pastime was sitting outside in her swing in the warm sunshine. It never got too hot for Faye and her sunshine! She loved going to Carol’s Restaurant in Waverly every Friday when her nephew Allen would come to pick her and Minnie Lou up for an outing. Faye was a self-proclaimed Historian for Old Johnsonville, Tennessee and so enjoyed reminiscing about her life there. She adored her 25 nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews and they all returned her love. If you knew Faye, you would never call her on the telephone when her precious “Gunsmoke” was on television!
