Mrs. Frances Powers Grannis, age: 96 Of: Waverly, TN Died: Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at her home in Waverly. She was born on October 15, 1921 in Owensville, IN. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in McEwen, TN. Mrs. Frances was a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, Co-Owner of Powers Florist for 38 years and a member of the American Legion. She became a Registered Nurse at the age of 50 and worked in hospitals in Benton County, Bruceton and at Three Rivers Hospital. Visitation: will be from 9am – 12 noon on Friday May 11, 2018 at the Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Frances Powers Grannis will be held at 12:00 noon Friday May 11, 2018 from the chapel of Humphreys County Funeral Home with Father Zack Kirangu officiating. Interment: will be held at 2:15 p.m. at the Calvary Cemetery, 1001 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210. Survivors: Sister: Dorothy P.
