Mrs. Francis “June” Taylor Mitchell Age: 79 Of: New Johnsonville, TN Died: Friday, November 23, 2017 at St. Thomas Midtown after fighting a long battle with lung disease. She lived most of her life in New Johnsonville, TN where she and her husband raised their children and grandchildren, which were the joy of her life. She was loving, kind, humorous, faithful forgiving, strong and courageous. She was everything to her family. She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, great grandmother, a friend, a cheerleader, a counselor and she was loved passionately by her family. Visitation: will be held from 1 – 3 on Saturday November 25, 2017 at the New Johnsonville United Methodist Church. Funeral Services: for Mrs. June Mitchell will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the New Johnsonville United Methodist Church with Bro. Johnny Hayes officiating. Interment: will follow in the United Methodist Church Cemetery. Survived by: Husband of 59 years: Jack Mitchell of New Johnsonville, TN 1 Daughter: Jacquelyn Fox (John) of Sweetwater, TN 3 Son: Clay Mitchell of Nashville, TN Lee Mitchell (Lizzie) of New Johnsonville, TN Taylor Mitchell of New Johnsonville, TN 1 Brother: Dick Taylor of South Haven, MS 3 Sisters: Joyce Clements of Dallas, TX Janet Strickland of Memphis, TN Jane Coleman of Memphis, TN 9 Grandchildren: Lauren (Nathan), John Michael, Callie (Bo), Sloane, Matt, Alex, Tommy, Cole, and Jordan. 4 Great Grandchildren: Camden, Eli, Isaiah, and Alia Preceded in death by: Parents: Richard Aaron & Alma Elizabeth Strachen Taylor, and Son: David Kirk Mitchell, 2 Sisters: Jean Johnson and Joan Diette
