Fredalene Sue Patterson Fuller

Fredalene Sue Patterson Fuller, age 84, died Monday, October 12, 2020, at Horizon Tri Star Hospital in Dickson, TN. Fredalene was born April 26, 1936, in Victoria, TX. Her parents were Fred and Katherine Patterson. In 1939, her mother passed away after a long battle with cancer. Her father later married Miss Ward Alberta Chessor and the family moved to Tennessee. Mrs. Fuller attended Waverly Central High School for her senior year of school. The following year she attended St. Thomas School of Nursing where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. Fredalene and her first husband, Andrew Stitt Sr. had 3 children: Andrew Edward Stitt, Jr., Merridethe Ann Stitt Long, and Stephen Hill Stitt. Fredalene worked many years at the Nautilus Hospital in Waverly and later as a nurse at Conalco in New Johnsonville. She later married Lloyd Fuller and the couple opened a restaurant in New Johnsonville. Mrs. Fuller loved cooking, fishing, and sewing. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, both sons, as well as her sister Janie Patterson Sharpe and brother James Patterson. Survivors include daughter Merridethe Ann Long and son-in-law Jimmy Long, grandchildren Jamie Long and Lori, Leesa Long, Katherine Brookke Forester and Jon, Cody Forester and Kelsey, Nicholas Forester and Mary, Cortney Buchanan and Chris, Andrew Stitt III, Danielle Fleming, Brian Stitt, Tabitha Shawl, Stephanie Stitt and many great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fuller was a resident of Humphreys County Nursing Home. The family requests that anyone in attendance wear a mask and practice social distancing. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 9 am – until time of services at the McEwen Center. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM at the McEwen Center with Pastor Mary Forrester officiating. Burial will follow at Sanders Cemetery in McEwen, TN. Arrangements by Humphreys County Funeral Home
