Freddie Wayne Wood

Freddie Wayne Wood, age 91, of Waverly, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN. He was born July 3, 1933, to Lester and Willodean Grissom Wood. Mr. Freddie was a member of the Waverly First Baptist Church and the Waverly County Club. He retired from TVA after being with them for 38 years. In Freddie’s free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Humphreys County Funeral Home.

A private graveside service will be conducted for the family.
