Frederick James Lopez

Mr. Frederick James Lopez, age: 70 Of: Waverly, TN, formerly of Hermiston, OR Died: Monday, July 15, 2019 at his residence. He was born September 14, 1948 in Santa Barbara, CA to Daniel and Suzanne Lopez. Mr. Lopez was a loving and devoted husband and father. He attended San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara, CA, where he met the love of his life, Kathleen Frady, whom he married on July 8, 1967. From this union, they had two daughters, Lisa and Andria. He served in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1981, and received extensive training in Nuclear Propulsion and Electronics. When his service in the Navy ended, Mr. Lopez went on to work as a nuclear/electrical/start-up engineer for companies such as United Engineers & Constructors Inc, Raytheon, and URS Energy & Construction Inc, from which he retired in 2013. After retirement his interests included outdoor activities such as fishing and kayaking. For the last couple of years of his life, he preferred relaxing at home watching movies and spending time with his three little Pekingese dogs whom he adored. Mr. Lopez’s wishes were to be cremated.
