Col. George H. Ross Jr., age: 90 Of: Waverly, TN Died: Thursday December 31, 2020 at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. George was borne in 1930 in Buffalo, NY. He was an Engineer and helped to open the Dupont Plant in New Johnsonville where he retired in 1992. He also served and retired as a Colonel in United States Army. He was a very active member of the Waverly Lions Club and Boy Scout Troop 575. He also served for 24 yeas on the Humphreys County Board of Education. Private Graveside Services: for Col George H. Ross Jr. will be held at 2 pm Saturday January 9, 2021 at the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN with full military honors.
