Mrs. Georgie Marie Poland, age: 80

Of: McEwen, TN passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Dickson Heath & Rehab. She was born September 19, 1942, in Dickson, TN.

Georgie was a board member of the Wheeler Town Cemetery in McEwen, TN. She was a descendent of the Cherokee tribe and given the name Princess Summer Rain. Georgie enjoyed making Indian jewelry, being outdoors, and traveling. She was a caregiver by trade and would help anyone in need.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Georgie will be conducted at 2:00pm Sunday, April 16, 2023, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with William Brown officiating.

Interment will follow in Curtis Chapel Cemetery.
