Harold Randolph Howard Sr., 74, of McEwen, TN passed from the earthly life into his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ of February 20, 2015. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Harold is a retired robotics electrician and built robotic machines for the automotive companies in Detroit. He loved his God, his family and his country. He served in the U.S. Navy for 9 years and the Army Reserve for 2 years. Harold was born June 5, 1940 in Owensboro, KY to the late Harold Andrew and Gladys Virginia (Hall) Howard. He was married to Dianne (Ward) Mercer Howard of McEwen, TN. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were two sisters: Carolyn Sue (Howard) Ward of Birmingham, MI and Barbara Ann (Howard) Ward of Ann Arbor, MI; four half-sisters: Meryl Huber, Blanche Thompson, Mary Melhiser and Margaret Wright of Owensboro, KY. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include five sons: Randy Howard of Colorado Springs, CO, Paul Howard of Orlando, FL, Jonathan Howard (Robin) of Columbus, OH, Russell Howard of Orlando, FL and Keith Howard (Sandra) of Cullman, AL; two daughters: Margaret Watkins (Jack) of Orlando, FL and Ramona Streetman (Carl) of Loveland, CO; one step-son: James Mercer Jr. of Collierville, TN; two sisters: Juanita Mansfield (Bill) of Louisville, KY and Shirley Simons (Hugh) of Ossineke, MI; 9 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one step-great grandson; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
