Harold Dean Qualls, of New Johnsonville, Tennessee, passed away at his home. Mr. Qualls was born June 8, 1938, in Hustburg, Tennessee, to J C and Lavonia Catherine Simmons Qualls. He was married to the late Velma Little Qualls. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Dean was a retired Laborer for the Tennessee Valley Authority in New Johnsonville, Tennessee. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He supported and made donations to ASPCA and the Humphreys County Humane Society. He was an avid Tennessee Titans Football fan, and he loved doing things for his family. Dean departed this earth on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the age of 86. We, his family, think he did it on purpose to avoid having to make a decision in the pending Presidential Election!!

Visitation: will be Monday, June 17, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until service time, at Humphreys County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: will be held Monday, June 17, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Janie Burkett officiating.
Private Burial of Cremains: will be in the McKeel Cemetery in Waverly, Tennessee, next to his beloved Velma, at a later date.
