Age: 87, of: New Johnsonville, TN Died: Thursday, June 16, 2016 at his home. He was born December 11, 1928 in Humphreys County, TN. Mr. Waggoner was an Army Veteran, member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Ebenezer Cemetery Association Trustee and avid hunter. He worked and retired from DuPont after 27 years of service. Visitation: will be held from 10:00am until service time Saturday, June 18th at the Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Mr. Waggoner will be conducted at 2:00pm Saturday, June 18th in the Humphreys County Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Donna Parramore and Dr. Ed Britt officiating. Interment: will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery. A memorial meal will be held after the services at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Survived by: Wife of 65 years: Joan Dickerson Waggoner of New Johnsonville Sons: Richard Waggoner (Sharon) of New Johnsonville Jeffrey Scott Waggoner (Lesa) of Paris Brother: Douglas Waggoner (Carolyn) of Greenville Grandchildren: Crystal Daniel (Morgan) of New Johnsonville Carrie Little (fiancé James Hippe) of Brooklet, GA April King (David) of Weston, FL Michael Waggoner of New Johnsonville Great Grandchildren: Mariah Daniel, Dawson Little Hunter Little, Reagan Daniel Kathryn Waggoner, Jaime Hippe Numerous Nieces and Nephews Preceded in death by: Parents: Bernard Box and Grace Patterson Waggoner Brothers: Bill Waggoner, Cooper Waggoner, Phil Waggoner Sister: Betty Jo Taylor Memorials may be made to the Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
