Herschel Kelly Flannery, Jr.           Age: 87

Of: Dickson, Tn.                               Passed Away: on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at NHC Place at the Trace. He was born in Covington, Ky., on February 12, 1936, to Herschel Flannery, Sr., and Faye Owen. He spent his career as an electrical engineer. He was a member of Jason Chapel Church of the Nazarene.

Visitation: will be conducted on Saturday morning after 10am at Spann Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: for Herschel Flannery will be conducted on Saturday Sept. 2, 2023, at 12 noon from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home, with Pastor Josh Wallace officiating.

Interment: will follow the service at Dickson County Memorial Gardens.

Wife of 58 years:

   Phyllis Buss Flannery, of Dickson, Tn.

Daughter:

   Claire Lynn Benzing (David), of Palmdale, Ca.

Brother:

   Michael Flannery, of Kentucky

Grandchildren:

   Matthew Benzing, Kylie Sun (Brendan), Tyler Benzing, and Megan Benzing.

Nephews:

   Ryan and Ross Flannery
