Mr. Horace David Brown, age 78
Of Waverly, TN passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, at his home. He was born September 12, 1945, in Russellville, KY.
Horace was a dedicated employee who worked for Acme Boot, later known as Dan Post, for approximately 50 years. In his professional career, Horace’s commitment and loyalty shone through as he dedicated half a century to the company he called home. His contributions were invaluable, and his work ethic served as an inspiration to many in the industry.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Horace found joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid coon hunter and a former member of the Humphreys County Coon Hunters Club, he cherished the thrill of the chase and camaraderie among fellow hunters. Additionally, his love for fishing provided him solace and moments of tranquility amidst the beauty of nature.
Horace was a devoted family man above all else. His unwavering love for his spouse, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren knew no bounds. He cherished moments spent together and created countless memories that will be forever treasured by his surviving family.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time Friday, April 12th at Humphreys County Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Mr. Brown will be conducted at 1:00pm Friday, April 12, 2024, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Mullinax and William Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Richlawn Cemetery.
