Mrs. Huetta Marie Turpin Twelkemeier, age 95

Of: Waverly, TN passed away Friday, January 27, 2023, at Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly, TN.. She was born May 19, 1927, in St. Louis, MO, to Hugh Thurman Turpin and Hilda Marie Czeschin Turpin.

Mrs. Twelkemeier was a member and Elder at Ellis Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Waverly, a member of Waverly Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and a member of First Baptist Church of Dickson. She enjoyed gardening and weed eating, shooting snakes’ heads off, water witching, hunting Indian artifacts, fishing from the boat dock at her home, traveling, and spending time with her precious family. Huetta was a retired Realtor for Century 21 Realty in Waverly. She was a hostess of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville for almost 20 years. She truly loved and lived life to the fullest.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm – 8:00pm Friday, February 3, 2023 and from 10:00am until service time, Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Twelkemeier will be conducted at 11:00am, Saturday, February 4, 2023, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dyllan Simmons officiating.

Interment will follow in Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
