Jake Jurer Young passed away on February 15, 2025, in Dickson, Tennessee. He was born on February 2, 1957, in Saginaw, Michigan. He was known for his warm personality and genuine affection for his grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.
A proud veteran, Jake served eight years in the United States Navy, demonstrating dedication and commitment to his country. In addition to his military service, Jake had a passion for collecting sports memorabilia. This hobby not only showcased his love for the sports but also served as a bridge to connect with friends and family over shared interests and memories.
His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. Jake's warmth, joy for life, and devotion to his family will be remembered fondly by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Visitation: will be held 10:00 – 12:00 pm Wednesday, February 26 at Spann Funeral Home in Dickson, Tennessee
Funeral service: for Jake Jurer Young will be conducted at 12:00 pm Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in the Spann Funeral Home Chapel
Interment is scheduled at 2:00 pm in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery
