James Fred "Jim" Campbell

Mr. James Fred “Jim” Campbell, age: 71 Of: Waverly, TN Died: Saturday, June 27, 2020 at his home. He was born in Nashville, TN to James F. and Helen Heflin Campbell on January 18, 1949. Jim grew up in Clarksville, TN and graduated from Clarksville High School. After serving in the United States Army, he worked for Clarksville Fire Dept. until February 1982. He worked for the State Fire Marshall’s Office and the City of Jackson until his retirement, where he and his wife of 39 years, Martha Jackson Campbell, returned to Waverly. Jim was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He always made people smile in Jackson and Waverly by passing out Jelly Belly jellybeans. Mr. Campbell’s wishes were to be cremated. Memorial Services for Mr. Campbell will be conducted at 4:00pm Thursday, July 9, 2020 in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel. Military Honors and Masonic Services will be conducted at the start of the service.
