Jeneva B. Hornburger

Age: 87 Of: Waverly, TN, was born December 29, 1927; and died Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Humphreys County Nursing Home, where she lived for the past 4 years. Mrs. Hornburger was the daughter of the late John Allen Brake and Martha Barber Brake of Bold Springs, TN. She attended school at The Old Furnace in Only, TN. She was married to the late L.D. Rice of Hurricane Mills, TN and the late Jack Hornburger of McEwen, TN. She was a homemaker; and later worked at McEwen Manufacturing, Sunny Isle & Acme Boot. Mrs. Hornburger was a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church in New Johnsonville, TN. Visitation: will be held from 4 – 8pm Saturday, July 25th and from 10am until service time Sunday, July 26th at the Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Mrs. Hornburger will be conducted at 2pm Sunday, July 26th in the Humphreys County Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Ken Zike officiating. Interment: will follow in the Young Cemetery in McEwen.
