Of: McEwen, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Humphreys County Care and Rehab in Waverly, Tennessee. Jerry was born May 26, 1944, in McEwen, Tennessee to Noah Lawrence and Lula Mae Johnson Smith. He was married to Judy Kathern Burns Smith. Jerry loved hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, canning, and farming. He especially loved spending time with his precious family.

Visitation: will be Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, Tennessee.

Funeral Services: will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, Tennessee, with Travis Smith officiating. 

Interment will follow at the Smith Family Cemetery in McEwen, Tennessee.
