Jim Hugh Harbison

Mr. Jim Hugh Harbison, age: 86

Of: Dickson, TN passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Christian Care Center in Medina, TN. He was born December 17, 1936, in Dickson County, TN.

Jim served as a MP in the United States Army during the Korean War. After being honorably discharged, he decided to further his education by obtaining his master’s degree in education. Jim worked as a 7^th & 8^th grade math/science teacher; and served as a coach, guidance counselor and principal during his 38 years with the Dickson County Board of Education. He loved the Lord and was a member of the Dickson First Baptist Church. Jim was an avid golfer and achieved 2 hole-in-ones. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, and granddad who will be deeply missed.

Mr. Harbison’s wishes were to be cremated.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until service time Saturday, February 25^th at Spann Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Harbison will be conducted at 4:00 pm Saturday, February 25, 2023, in the Spann Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Miller officiating.

   Ali Grace Davis, Knox Davis & Benjamin Hugh Davis
