Mr. Jimmie Franklin Holmes, Jr., age: 61 Of: Saginaw, TX, formerly of Waverly, TN Died: Friday, January 28, 2022 at Medical City – Fort Worth in Fort Worth, TX. He was born April 30, 1960 in Claremore, OK to Jimmie Holmes, Sr. and Mae Harris Holmes. Mr. Holmes worked as a Foreman in construction for several years and was considered to be a perfectionist in his trade. This led to Jimmie working on well-known buildings such as the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Jimmie had a love for life, a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses and watching UT Vols football. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time Saturday, February 5th at Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Mr. Holmes will be conducted at 1:00pm Saturday, February 5, 2022 in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Farris officiating. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery.
