Jimmy Perry Rice              Age:  87

Of: Waverly, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024, at his home. Mr. Rice was born April 3, 1937, in Waverly, Tennessee, to William Gordon and Mary D. Potter Rice. He was married to Jo Ann Marrs Rice for 63 years. He attended Buffalo Primitive Baptist Church. He retired as an Engineer after 40 years for the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He loved taking Jo Ann to the mountains on vacation. Mr. Rice enjoyed gardening, fishing, and almost anything he could find to do outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.
 

Visitation: will be Friday, June 7, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Service: will be held Friday, June 7, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kevin Lofton officiating.
