Joan Dickerson Waggoner

Mrs. Joan Dickerson Waggoner, age 92

Of: New Johnsonville, TN passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, at her home. She was born June 7, 1930, in Denver, TN. Mrs. Waggoner was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church where she previously taught Sunday school and was a member of the Women’s Society. In her youth she played basketball for Tribble school where she graduated. This led to her love of watching UK Men’s and TN Women’s basketball. Mrs. Waggoner was a breast cancer survivor and lived a full life filled with joy. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, canning, and cooking meals for her family.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00pm Tuesday, April 18^th and from 9:00am until service time Wednesday, April 19^th at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Waggoner will be conducted at 11:00am Wednesday, April 19, 2023, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ryne Lee officiating.

Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
