John "Johnny" James

Mr. John “Johnny” James, age: 90 Of: New Johnsonville, TN Died: Friday, September 22, 2017 at his home. He was born September 12, 1927 in Humphreys County. Mr. James was a WWII Navy Veteran, member of the Trace Creek Baptist Church, and member of the New Johnsonville Masonic Lodge. He worked for DuPont and retired after 42 years. Mr. James enjoyed going to yard sales and collecting coins and knives. Visitation: will be held from 5:00 – 8:00pm Tuesday, September 26th with Masonic Services conducted at 7:00pm and from 10:00am until service time Wednesday, September 27th at Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Johnny James will be conducted at 11:00am Wednesday, September 27th in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Warren officiating. Interment: will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery with Military Honors.
